volunteer with us!

Did you know we're 100% volunteer?

That's why we need you! Volunteers can help in many ways. Think about what your skills are and how they might apply to saving felines.

Easy to do and desperately needed. If you can use a basic content editor, you can keep our sites current with cats, and upcoming events!

Update Our Website

Review applications and talk with adopters about what they're looking for. Perfect for someone who's comfortable asking direct questions!

Screen Potential Adopters

Scoop, refill, tidy and socialize with the cats living in our PetSmart habitat. Short shift, easy job, and yes, petting cats is part of it, too!

Spiff Up PetSmart

Everything we do runs on donations. Help us plan events, gather raffle items, staff a table, or spread the word about Pet Paw-see!

Help With a Fundraiser

A good photo is the difference between getting scrolled past and getting adopted. Bring your phone and a little patience for cats who won't hold still!

Photograph Adoptables

Open your home to a cat who needs one. You provide the space and the love, we cover the vet bills. See more information below on this!

Foster a Cat or Kitten

Volunteer Ideas

Foster families are the backbone of this organization.

They let us help far more cats than we could otherwise, including the ones who need it most: the sick, the injured, and the behaviorally challenged. They're heroes to cats the world has turned away from.

We need safe and loving foster homes!

Pet Paw-see doesn't have a physical shelter. Our cats live in the PetSmart habitat, in boarding at vet offices and boarding facilities, or in one of our foster homes.

Boarding is expensive and many of the cats we take in can't go into boarding or the habitat at all. That's where our foster homes come in. We reserve fostering for cats with the greatest needs: pregnant cats and mommas with litters, orphaned kittens and bottle babies, cats recovering from surgery or injury, cats with medical conditions like blindness or anything requiring ongoing medication, and cats who need socialization support or help finding the right kind of fur-ever home.

Our foster families provide love and care, transport their cats to medical appointments (Pet Paw-see covers all vet bills), take photos and video to promote their fosters for adoption, and bring them to our adopt-a-thons, usually held Saturdays from 12 to 3 PM at PetSmart and Petco in Great Falls.
